Rivers & Robots is an indie worship project birthed from Manchester, UK. Originally started as a solo project in 2010, Rivers & Robots has since expanded to a band in 2012. We love Jesus and we love to worship through song, music, creativity and art. We aim to create songs that express and declare who God is, both lyrically and through music and creativity. These usually come in the form of indie, folk and electronic songs.
We’re a small part of a global worship movement being raised up right now, singing a new song (Isaiah 42:10) and preparing the way (Isaiah 40:3-5) for the return of Jesus. Aiming to glorify Him and declare His glory (Psalm 96), and to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength (Luke 10:27). We’re also quite partial to a bit of tea and cake.
Rivers & Robots is Jonathan Ogden (vocals, keyboards, samples/loops), David Hailes (guitar, ukelele, vocals), Nathan Stirling (bass, guitar, percussion, vocals) and Kelani Koyejo (drums, vocals). We currently have two albums out, and hope to record some new material in 2013 along with doing some live events.
